I had my first ja...Thank you for the great advice. I had my first jam at earls juke joint here in Oregon. I did make the mistake of not checking my tuning but other than that it went very well, played for three hours. I got to know the person putting on the jam for several weeks and he invited me play. I think that went a long way to having a good session, even with my tuning gaffe! Your reference to "Sweet Home Alabama" made me laugh out loud, the singer called that one late in the evening, at least I knew it so it turned out to be fun.
